Our Story
A family-driven company built on hard work, honesty, and a passion for creating better homes and better experiences.
A Young
Entrepreneur
Tayllon Batista's story began in Brazil, where he learned the value of hard work from his grandfather, José de Paula.
At just 15 years old, Tayllon purchased his grandfather's small roadside coconut-water business and began his first entrepreneurial journey. The experience taught him responsibility, customer service, leadership, and determination.
At 16, Tayllon moved to the United States with his mother and sister. He completed high school in Falmouth, Massachusetts, learned English, and continued pursuing his dream of becoming a business owner.
From Massachusetts
to South Carolina
Tayllon's passion for construction eventually led him to establish U.S. Royal Company, which became a trusted construction name serving Cape Cod and the Islands.
During this chapter, Tayllon met his wife and biggest supporter, Rachael. She joined the business, helping manage the office and staff while they began building their family together.
After years of construction experience and continued growth, Tayllon and Rachael moved to South Carolina, where Batista Builders was founded and the next chapter of their story began.
Building
Together
In 2025, Batista Builders entered a new chapter when Tayllon formed a partnership with his father-in-law, Ben.
Built on family, trust, and a shared commitment to quality, the partnership brought additional experience and leadership to the company as Batista Builders continued to grow.
Together, Tayllon and Ben are focused on delivering quality craftsmanship, building strong relationships with clients, and creating a company their families can be proud of.
Built Around
Family
Today, Tayllon and Rachael continue growing Batista Builders while raising their kids, Ellie, Claire, TJ and Grace.
Family remains at the heart of everything we do. We understand that we're not simply working on a building — we're helping create the place where families live, grow, and make memories.
Batista Builders remains committed to quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and creating a smoother, more enjoyable building experience for every client.
“Better Building Through
Better Experience.”
